ARDI project presentation at the 3rd International Cheese Congress in Ordizia

Eva Ugarte Sagastizabal, ARDI head, presented the project at the 3rd International Cheese Congress held in Ordizia on 4th October 2018.

During her presentation, Eva detailed the different technical actions currently undertaken by the project, which seek to increase Latxa and Manech breed competitiveness, besides strengthening their settlement and exploitation via the mutual management of the genetic improvement programmes extant between these breeds. She also highlighted the main aim of the same was to develop, validate and implement methodologies on both sides of the frontier enabling the increase in competitiveness of said breeds likewise generating cross-border bodies for mutual management of the selection schemes.
