Specific Objectives

To consolidate the ARTALDEAN EEIG created within the ARDI project to move towards the common management of genetic improvement programs for Latxa and Manech.

To consolidate and optimize the basic methodologies developed within the ARDI project by concretely defining the international genomic evaluation model and, in the new context of climate change, analyzing the incorporation of new sustainability-related traits.

To support the incorporation of innovations and the absorption of new technologies and societal requirements into the improvement programs to increase the competitiveness of farms and make this activity more attractive for the incorporation of young people.
