ARDI project presented at SALAMAQ’18

Doctor Eva Ugarte Sagastizabal, the ARDI Project Head, took part in two talks at SALAMAG’18 Agro-Food Sector Fair.

On the one hand, she took part in the ‘Transfrontier Collaborations’ session, organised by the Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA) (Spanish National Agri-Food Research and Technology Institute), to explain the join action taken with France to advance towards common management of the different genetic improvement programmes.

On the other hand, she took part in a talk with Manchega sheep breed experts to divulge the first steps being taken in the implementation of genomic selection in the Latxa breed.
